The page is alive. And it's watching you.
Inkline is a tower defense drawn in pen and ink on aged parchment — and on the other side of the paper sits the Director, a rival intelligence who sketches every enemy wave by hand. Lean on splash damage, and paper cranes take to the sky where your mortars can't reach. Trust your quill archers, and armored beetles march in numbers no single dart can stop. Freeze the road, and the Director sends creatures too patient to care.
Place Quill Archers, Ink Mortars, and Freeze Wells along a winding ink road. Upgrade them, sell them, reshape your line between waves — because the Director reads your defense after every round and tells you, to your face, exactly what it noticed. Survive 20 waves, including hand-drawn boss brutes, to seal the manuscript and win the chapter.
It starts gentle. It ends personal. Every run feels like a rematch against an opponent who remembers.
