Open Sea

Open Sea puts you on the quarterdeck of a wooden sailing ship, standing at the helm as you steer across bright turquoise water. Trim the sails with W and S, steer with A and D, drop anchor with R, and step away from the wheel with F when you are ready to explore.

Your first voyage points you to Crescent Isle, a rocky, palm-topped island with its spot marked by an X on your map. A compass strip across the top of the screen tracks your heading and shows distance markers to your goal, while other sails drift on the horizon.

The helm panel keeps you informed at a glance: sail setting, speed in knots with wind conditions, hull water level, and anchor status. A gold tracker counts toward a 3,000 coin target as you sell chests, and your hotbar carries a cutlass, a pistol with ammo, a shovel, a bucket, planks, and more for life at sea.
