INKFANG is a boss-rush duelling game drawn entirely in brush and ink. There are no levels to grind through and no filler enemies — just you, a hooded weasel-ninja with a silver dagger, and four monstrous performers waiting behind four curtains.
Every duel is a conversation. A cracked marionette conductor beats his baton in strict three-time. A silk-spinning widow writes her letters in ink and signs them with a lunge. A brass bellhop still ringing for a guest who checked out sixty years ago. And beneath a vast pale moon, the Silk Sovereign waits for an applause that will never come. Each one fights across three escalating phases, and each one tells you exactly what it is about to do — if you can read it in time.
The blade is fast, the dash is generous, and the parry is everything. Catch a strike in the first instant of your guard and time itself stutters: the screen bleaches white, the boss reels, and your silk comes rushing back. Spend that silk to heal, or hold it and end the fight a second sooner.
Hand-inked in a style that pulls 1930s rubber-hose cartoons through Hollow-Knight-soft lighting — drifting dust in the footlights, halftone printed into the shadows, and paper grain over everything.
