Light the four vortices and open Haven before the darkness seals it forever.
Remixed fromStarseed: Haven Protocolby @jaylen56
You are a Starseed Toolwright, alone on a drifting station cluster at the far edge of explored space. Ahead of you the great ringed Haven Gate hangs dark and sealed. Behind you, a countdown. When it reaches zero, the darkness closes Haven forever and humanity never arrives.
Four vortex anchors stand across the deck, and each one demands a different colour of light. Your prismatic ray gun cycles pink, blue, red and green — match an anchor's colour, feed it energy cells, and keep firing until its vortex roars to life and burns a pillar of light into the void. Every anchor you light buys back precious seconds.
But the light draws things toward it. Energy vampires — gaunt husks of cracked black armour veined with hungry violet — stalk you across the plating, and the moment a vortex burns they swarm it to drink your hard-won time away. Each one is attuned to a single colour, and hitting it with its own light unmakes it twice as fast. Read the colour, switch the light, or raise your magnetic shield and let the bubble eat the hit instead of your suit.
Light all four. Watch the gate blaze open. Walk through before the dark takes it.
A complete mission every run — with a full soundtrack, a hand-painted nebula sky, and a clock that never stops.
