The vale is dying

You are Moonfang, a spirit-touched wolf with light in your fur. A creeping violet Blight is eating the ancient forest of Verdant Vale — withering the great trees, twisting its beasts into snarling corrupted things, and closing in on the last sunlit groves.

Run as a wolf runs. Sprint through fern undergrowth under thick shafts of golden light, leap fallen mossy trunks, and follow drifting spirit motes to the four forgotten shrines of the vale. Howl and the forest answers — nearby motes, nests and beasts flare in your senses, and the way forward reveals itself.

Four shrines, four gifts

Each shrine you awaken gives back a piece of what your kind once was: a Spirit Claw that tears with light, a Moon Dash that carries you through danger untouched, a Howl of the Pack that calls two spirit wolves to your side, and a Lunar Roar that shatters everything in front of you.

Break the nests. Face the Maw.

Violet crystal nests spit corrupted wolves, charging stags and armoured brutes into the forest. Shatter all six and the Maw of the Blight opens — and the thing sleeping at its heart wakes up.

Gather motes, sharpen your fang, thicken your hide, and take the vale back.
